Carved Australian boulder opal is set in sterling silver for this size 7 ring. The rich brown stone with its flecks of green and blue fire reminded me so much of the wetlands landscape at the Bolsa Chica Ecological Preserve. The stone features a carved surface and is bezel set on a heavily textured band. There are three little drops of 14k rose gold for a little bit of warm dappled light.
