Inspired by the historic hotel in The Yosemite Valley, the Ahwahnee Path Ring is a staple in our studio at Jivita Jewelry. 
The pattern is inspired by the painted work on the walls and floors inside the Ahwahnee hotel in Yosemite, California. 
We have been visiting the Yosemite Valley nearly every year since I was a child so I needed to add a Yosemite ring to the Path Rings Collection. I chose the Ahwahnee  Hotel rather than picking a natural pattern partly because it gave me the oppurtunity to create a graphic pattern and partly because the historic hotel has such a strong place in my imagination. Its dark wood rafters and the native american art that hangs on the walls and floors give the feelings of mountain warmth, even on the coldest of days.
 
The Ahwahnee is available in sizes 5-9.
 
Cast locally with the lost wax method and finished in our studio in Los Angeles.
